VRITI GUJRAL

About Her

Vriti has embraced the Indian classical art form to preserve the essence of Indian culture. Despite the absence of a tradition of student-led musicals in Indian high schools, she perceived this as an opportunity rather than a limitation. Taking the initiative, she established one in her own school, enabling her fellow students and herself to convey cultural stories through art. She envisions pioneering fusion-based Musical Productions on prestigious stages such as Broadway and Westend that break free from conventional norms, exploring diverse dance forms, thought-provoking themes, and universal human experiences. Her vision for the future seeks to unite diverse cultures through dance productions, both in India and abroad.

“Instead of having the desire of being the best ‘Kathak dancer’, the question has always been, who am I and what is MY dance?”
